Once you have completed setting up your Google Analytics account, you need to generate the unique ID tracking code.
This is essential to track all the data for your website and needs to be placed on every page. Be very careful you don`t install the tracking code twice.
You will then be able to track such key information as purchases, enquiries, time on site, bounce rate (Whether people leave your site without clicking on a link) which pages they like the most / least and how many visits are only from a smartphone.
